HANDMADE IN BANGLADESH
We hope this hand-embroidered quilted cushion will bring joy to your home. The cushion measures 50 x 50 cm and includes a lovely insert cushion filled with new duck down.
The fabric is handwoven from GOTS-certified organic cotton and dyed with an environmentally friendly dye. The cushion is quilted and hand-embroidered. The cushion is sewn based on global fair-trade principles and has in total taken about 1.5 days to weave, dye, cut, embroider and sew.
When you buy a cushion, you help secure decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive a fair wage, an annual bonus (dividend) and professional training.

This cushion is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most recognized global standard for the processing of organic fibres. The standard is supported by an independent third-party certification and guarantees compliance with a wide range of environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain.
Textiles that are GOTS-certified must contain at least 70% certified organic fibres.
Likewise, no two products will ever be exactly the same because the products are handmade. We hope you will appreciate the little quirks and stories of the products as much as we do — and that they bring you joy for many years to come.
Care
We recommend washing the cushion as little as possible to protect the product and our planet:
- Machine wash at max. 30°C
- Preferably use a gentle wash cycle
- Do not bleach, tumble dry, or dry-clean
