    Here at Manelleh we believe we can make a difference for women through the way we run our business. This is the foundation of our company. At the heart of our work is close collaboration with all our partners around the world. That way we know how each product is made, who makes it, and what the women are paid. And by doing so we ensure that the women receive responsible wages and a proper working environment.

    Our purpose is clear. We want to raise living standards and create decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for women across the world. We want to give women the opportunity to be independent and to live a life free from poverty. To give them the chance to earn their own money, send their children to school, and live free from prostitution, discrimination, insecure or low-paid jobs, and from physical or sexual violence.

    Empowering women makes an unparalleled difference for them, their families, and their communities.

    When women work, they invest 90 percent of their income back into their families, compared with 35 percent for men.
