The tradition has been passed down through many generations, and Guria learned the technique from her mother.

Sony is a mother of two. Throughout her motherhood she has continued to work for Saidpur Enterprises, which has had a great impact on her family.

She also says that having a decent and meaningful job is very important so she can contribute financially to her family’s well-being—on equal terms and in the same way as her husband.
