We hope this hand-embroidered, quilted cushion will bring joy to your home. The cushion measures 50 x 50 cm and includes a luxurious insert cushion with new duck down.
The fabric is handwoven from GOTS-certified organic cotton and dyed with eco-friendly dye. The cushion is quilted and hand-embroidered. The cushion is sewn according to global fair trade principles and in total took approximately 1.5 days to weave, dye, cut, embroider, and sew.
When you buy a cushion, you help secure decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive a fair wage, an annual bonus (dividend), and skills training.

This cushion is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most recognized global standard for processing organic fibers. The standard is supported by independent third-party certification and guarantees compliance with a wide range of environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain.
Textiles that are GOTS-certified must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibers.
Also, there will never be two products that are exactly the same because the products are handmade. We hope you will appreciate the small unique features and their story as much as we do — and that you will enjoy them for many years to come.
Care
We recommend washing the cushion as little as possible to protect the product and our planet:
- Machine wash at max. 30°C
- Preferably use a gentle wash cycle
- Do not bleach, tumble dry, or dry clean
