We hope the colours and patterns on this beautiful hand-embroidered bedspread will create a lovely look in your bedroom or guest room. The bedspread measures 240 x 260 cm and is lined with cotton. It therefore has a pleasant weight, drapes nicely over the bed and keeps its shape.
The fabric is hand-woven from GOTS-certified organic cotton and dyed with eco-friendly dye. The bedspread is lined with cotton, quilted and hand-embroidered. The bedspread is sewn based on global fair trade principles and has in total taken about 12 days to weave, dye, cut, embroider and sew.
When you buy a hand-embroidered bedspread, you help provide decent, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive fair wages and skills training.

This bedspread is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most widely recognized global standard for processing organic fibres. The standard is supported by independent third-party certification and guarantees compliance with a wide range of environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain.
Textiles that are GOTS-certified must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibres.
There will never be two products that are exactly the same because the products are handmade. We hope you will appreciate the small unique details and their story as much as we do — and we hope you will enjoy them for many years to come.
Care
We recommend washing the bedspread as little as possible to protect it and our planet:
- Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C
- Use a gentle wash cycle
- Iron at medium temperature
- Do not bleach, tumble dry, or dry clean
