We hope you love our collection of unique cotton scarves in many colors and featuring various beautiful patterns. The scarf measures 65 x 65 cm.
The scarves are made from vintage cotton saris, which means they are not perfect (see details ). The scarves are carefully selected and each one has its own very special character. At the same time, there is only one or very few of each scarf. The scarves are sewn according to global fair trade principles and took about two hours to restore and sew.
When you buy a scarf, you help ensure decent, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive a fair wage, an annual bonus (dividend) and vocational training.

The scarves are made from vintage saris, which means the product has a history.
The saris were previously worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means the scarves are not perfect and may have small stains and marks.
🧡 If you find a small embroidery on your scarf, it is because the women judged the fabric to be beautiful and usable – despite one or two small holes, which they have repaired with a delicate embroidery.
Likewise, there will never be two products that are exactly the same because the products are handmade. We hope you will appreciate the products' small quirks and their story as much as we do – and we hope you will enjoy them for many years to come.
Care
We recommend that you wash the scarf as little as possible to protect the product and our planet:
- Machine wash at max. 30°C
- Preferably use a gentle wash cycle
- Can be ironed at medium temperature
- Do not bleach, tumble dry, or dry clean
