The rug is made from vintage cotton saris. It is handwoven using a traditional weaving technique. It is made in line with global fair trade principles and took about eight hours to weave.

This rug is made from vintage cotton saris, which means the product has a history.
The saris were previously worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. That means the rugs are not perfect and may have small marks or signs that reflect their history.
Likewise, no two rugs will ever be the same because the products are handmade. We hope you will appreciate the little quirks and the story of these products as much as we do — and that you will enjoy them for many years to come.
Care
We recommend avoiding washing the rug to protect the product and our planet. If washing becomes necessary, the rug can withstand:
- Machine wash at max. 30°C
- Preferably use a gentle wash cycle
- Do not tumble dry
