The Christmas cards are made from jute paper with Christmas trees made from vintage sarees. They are made based on global fair trade principles and took about an hour to make.
When you buy a set of Christmas cards, you help ensure proper, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company, where they receive a fair salary, annual bonus (dividend) and professional training.

Details
The Christmas cards are made of jute, which is a natural fiber. The fiber is extracted from the bark of the jute plant and goes through an extensive processing process before it becomes a finished jute product, in this case jute paper.
On each Christmas card there is a Christmas tree made of vintage sari, which means the product has a history. The saris have previously been worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life.
As the Christmas cards are handmade, no two sets are exactly alike. We hope you will appreciate the products' little features and their history as much as we do - and we hope that you can write some wonderful Christmas greetings on them.
