The core of our business is that we work closely with all our partners around the world. That way we know how every single product is made, who it is made of, and what the women get paid. And thus we ensure that women have a responsible wage level and a proper working environment.
Our purpose is clear. We want to raise the standard of living and create proper, meaningful and dignified jobs for women all over the world. We want to give women the opportunity to be independent and live a life free from poverty. Give them the opportunity to earn their own money, send their children to school, live a life free from prostitution, discrimination, insecure and low-paid jobs, and free from physical or sexual violence.

Gender inequality is one of the oldest and most widespread forms of inequality in the world. For centuries, it has deprived women of their voice in the world, has devalued their work - and has, on the whole, made women's position unequal in relation to men in everything from the household and micro level to the national and global level. Empowering women makes an incomparable difference for themselves, their families and their communities. When women work, they invest 90 percent of their income back in their families, compared to 35 percent for men.
