We hope you love our collection of unique cotton scarves in many colors with various beautiful patterns. The scarf measures 100 x 100 cm.
The scarves are made from vintage cotton saris, which means they are not perfect (see details ).The scarves are carefully selected and each one has a very special character. At the same time, there is only one or very few of each scarf. The scarves are sewn following global fair trade principles and each has taken about two hours to refurbish and stitch.
When you buy a scarf, you help secure decent, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive a fair wage, an annual bonus (dividend) and professional training.

The scarves are made from vintage saris, which means the product has a history.
The saris were once worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means the scarves are not perfect and may have small stains and marks.
🧡 If you find a small embroidery on your scarf, it is because the women judged the fabric beautiful and usable – despite one or two small holes they have repaired with a delicate stitch.
Likewise, there will never be two products that are exactly the same, because the products are handmade. We hope you will appreciate the small quirks and the story of the products as much as we do – and that they bring you joy for many years to come.
Care
We recommend washing the scarf as little as possible to protect the product and our planet:
- Machine wash at max. 30°C
- Preferably use a gentle cycle
- Can be ironed at medium temperature
- Do not bleach, tumble dry or dry-clean
