We hope you love our collection of unique silk scarves in many colors and with various beautiful patterns. The scarf measures 100 x 200 cm.
The scarves are made from vintage silk saris, which means they are not perfect (see also details ). The scarves are carefully selected and each scarf has its own special character. At the same time, there is only one or very few of each scarf. The scarves are sewn according to global fair trade principles and have taken about two hours to restore and sew.
When you buy a scarf, you help secure decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work at a socially responsible company where they receive a fair wage, an annual bonus (dividend), and professional training.

The scarves are made from vintage saris, which means the product has a history.
The saris were once worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means the scarves are not perfect and may have small stains and marks.
🧡If you find a small embroidery on your scarf, it is because the women judged the fabric beautiful and usable — despite one or two small holes they repaired with a delicate embroidery.
Likewise, there will never be two products that are exactly the same, because the products are handmade. We hope you will appreciate the products' little peculiarities and their story as much as we do — and we hope they bring you joy for many years to come.
