The toiletry bag is padded, made from four layers of vintage cotton saris and lined with GOTS-certified organic cotton. It is sewn based on global fair trade principles and took about three hours to draft, cut, and machine-sew.
When you buy a toiletry bag, you help secure decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive a fair wage, an annual bonus (dividend), and professional training.

This toiletry bag is made from vintage saris, which means the product has a history. The saris were previously worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means the bags are not perfect and may have small stains and patches.
The toiletry bag is lined with GOTS-certified organic cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most widely recognized global standard for processing organic fibers. The standard is supported by independent third-party certification and guarantees compliance with a wide range of environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain. Textiles that are GOTS-certified must contain at least 70% certified organic fibers.
