The pouch is made from handwoven, naturally dyed cotton. It is lined with cotton and a thin layer of batting. It is sewn according to global fair-trade principles and took about two hours to make.
When you buy a pouch, you help secure decent, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive fair pay and vocational training.
