We hope you love our collection of unique bags in many colors and with various beautiful patterns. The belt bag measures W33 x H17 cm. It has an adjustable strap, one interior and two exterior zippered pockets.
The bag is made from vintage cotton sari and lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. It is sewn based on global fair trade principles and took approximately four hours to draw, cut and sew on a machine.
When you buy a bag, you help ensure proper, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company, where they receive a fair salary, annual bonus (dividend) and professional training.

The belt bags are made from vintage saris, which means the products have a history. The saris have previously been worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means that the bags are not perfect and may have minor stains and patches on them.
The bag is lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most recognized global standard for the processing of organic fibers. The standard is supported by independent third-party certification and is a guarantee of compliance with a wide range of environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain. Textiles that are GOTS certified must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibres.
