We hope you love our collection of money cats in different colors and with beautiful patterns. The money cat measures W22 x H17 cm and is made with a zip closure. It has an extra pocket on the outside with a zip and, in addition, an adjustable cord so that it can be worn around the neck or over the shoulder.
The money cat is quilted, made of three layers of vintage cotton saris and lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. It is sewn based on global fair trade principles and took approximately three hours to draw, cut and sew on a machine.
When you buy a money cat, you help ensure proper, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company, where they receive a fair salary, annual bonus (dividend) and professional training.

This money bag is made from vintage sarees, which means the product has a history. The saris have previously been worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means that the bags are not perfect and may have minor stains and patches on them.
The money cat is lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most recognized global standard for the processing of organic fibers. The standard is supported by an independent third-party certification and is a guarantee of compliance with a wide range of environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain. Textiles that are GOTS certified must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibres.
