We have received some beautiful, handmade silk scarves - and some of them we are offering at a reduced price. These scarves are stiffer than our regular silk scarves, but still absolutely lovely and unique.
HANDMADE IN BANGLADESH
We hope you love our collection of unique silk scarves in many colors and a variety of beautiful patterns. The scarf measures 65 x 65 cm.
The scarves are carefully selected and each one has its own special character. At the same time, there is only one or very few of each scarf. The scarves are sewn based on global fair trade principles and took about two hours to prepare and sew.
When you buy a scarf, you help secure decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive a fair wage, an annual bonus (dividend), and vocational training.

The scarves are made from vintage saris, which means the product has a history.
The saris were previously worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means the scarves are not perfect and may have small stains and marks.
Likewise, there will never be two products that are exactly the same because the products are handmade. We hope you will appreciate the small quirks and the stories of the products as much as we do – and that they will bring you joy for many years to come.
