HANDMADE IN BANGLADESH
We hope you love our collection of unique toiletry bags in different colors and with beautiful patterns. The toilet bag is H24 x W24 cm and has a partition on the inside that divides the toilet bag into two large compartments. The toiletry bag is made so that shampoo, cream and the like can stand upright in the toiletry bag.
The toiletry bag is made of three layers of vintage cotton saris and lined with buckram (stiff fabric) and black GOTS certified organic cotton. It is sewn based on global fair trade principles and took approximately three and a half hours to draw, cut and sew on a machine.
When you buy a toiletry bag, you help ensure proper, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company, where they receive a fair salary, annual bonus (dividend) and professional training.

Details
This toiletry bag is made from vintage saris, which means the product has a history. The saris have previously been worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means that the bags are not perfect and may have minor stains and patches on them.
The toiletry bag is lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most recognized global standard for the processing of organic fibers. The standard is supported by independent third-party certification and is a guarantee of compliance with a wide range of environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain. Textiles that are GOTS certified must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibres.
As the products are handmade, no two products will ever be exactly alike. We hope that you will appreciate the little features of the products and their history as much as we do – and we hope that you will enjoy them for many years to come.
