HANDMADE IN BANGLADESH
We hope you love our collection of jute/cotton bags in a variety of colors and patterns. The bag measures B45 x H32 cm and has two inner pockets as well as an outer pocket. It also has two short and one long adjustable strap so you can carry the bag over your shoulder.
The bag is made from hand-woven jute and lined with cotton. It is sewn according to global fair trade principles and took about five hours to make.
When you buy a bag, you help ensure decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive fair pay and vocational training.
The bag is made of jute, which is a natural fiber. The fiber is extracted from the bark of the jute plant and goes through an extensive processing procedure before it becomes a finished jute or jute/cotton product.
Because the products are handmade, no two items will ever be exactly alike. We hope you will appreciate the small unique characteristics and their story as much as we do — and we hope you enjoy your product for many years to come.
