We hope you love our collection of one of a kind yoga bags in various colors and patterns. The bag is L62 and Ø22 cm. It has one inside pocket and one outside zip pocket and comes with to handles that measures 70 cm.
The bag is quilted, made of four layers of vintage saris and lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. It is hand sewn together using a traditional kantha stitch, a centuries-old tradition of embroidery native in Bangladesh and India. It is made by women artisans,based on fair trade principles, and has taken eight hours to create.
Every purchase empowers women at a social enterprise in Bangladesh. It provides safe and dignified jobs for disadvantage women. They receive fair wages, yearly dividends, on the job training and capacity building.

The bag is made of vintage saris, which means the product has a history. In the past, these saris were worn by women in Bangladesh. They are now up-cycled and given a new life which means that smaller imperfections such as stains and patches can occur.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most recognised global standard for the processing of organic fibers. The standard is supported by an independent third-party certification and is a guarantee of compliance with a wide range of environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain. The textiles that are GOTS certified must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibres.
