For several years Maria Manel Bøge worked as a top manager in different large companies. A specific working experience made her change course. Now she is supporting women in Bangladesh.
An abundance of fabric and silk with bright colors and patterns hides behind the facade of a reddish-brown brick house not far from Femøren Metro Station.
They come from saris that women in Bangladesh once wore, and which the entrepreneur and former top manager Maria Manel Bøge has given new life to here on Amager. And there is a very special reason for that.
- Should we continue as we have always done, or should we try to do better and do something different? Definitely the latter, says Maria Manel Bøge.
