New advisory board to accelerate Women in eCommerce and strengthen Denmark's competitiveness
Denmark lacks digital skills, and we still recruit leaders from only half of the talent pool. This is a challenge for Danish companies in a world where commerce is increasingly digital, data-driven and AI-supported.
The network Women in eCommerce aims to change that. The network was established in 2024 by Dansk Industri and consists of just over 70 women from across the industry's value chain. It includes both specialists and leaders from manufacturing, logistics, trading companies and entrepreneurs.
The network is now being strengthened with an advisory board made up of strong leadership profiles from Danish business. The goal is to get more women into e-commerce and, by that route, into leadership. The path to this will be created through focus, visibility, relationships and skills development.
The advisory board:
- Bianca Bruhn, Country Director, Google
- Julia Lahme, Trend researcher & CEO, Lahme ApS
- Anette Nørgaard, Head of Relations, Dinero Visma
- Maria Manel Bøge, Founder, Manelleh
- Astrid Jessen, Senior Project Manager, Bestseller
- Mie Krog, Board member
- Mie Bilberg, from Dansk Industri
