HANDMADE IN BANGLADESH
We are very pleased to present our collection of jute canvas products, including computer sleeves, toiletry bags and cosmetic purses. The toiletry bag is W27 x H15 x D12 cm and has a large long pocket inside on one side and two smaller pockets on the other side.
The toiletry bag is made of machine-woven jute canvas and lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. It is sewn based on global fair trade principles and took approximately two hours to draw, cut and sew on a machine.
When you buy a toiletry bag, you help ensure proper, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company, where they receive a fair salary, annual bonus (dividend) and professional training.

Details
This toiletry bag is made of jute, which is a natural fiber. The fiber is extracted from the bark of the jute plant and goes through an extensive processing process before it becomes a finished jute canvas product.
The toiletry bag is lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most recognized global standard for the processing of organic fibers. The standard is supported by independent third-party certification and is a guarantee of compliance with a wide range of environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain. Textiles that are GOTS certified must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibres.
