We hope that you will love our collection of unique cotton scarves in different colors and patterns. The scarf measures 100 x 100 cm. 

The scarves are made from vintage cotton saris, and they are all carefully selected. Each scarf has a unique look, and you only find one or a few of each scarf. The scarves are made by women artisans, based on fair trade principles, and has taken approximately 2 hours to wash, cut and machine-stitch.

Every purchase empowers women at a social enterprise in Bangladesh. It provides safe and dignified jobs for disadvantaged women. The women receive fair wages, yearly dividends, on the job training and capacity building.

Details

The scarves are made from vintage saris, which means the product has a history.

The saris have previously been worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means that the scarves are not perfect and may have minor stains and marks on them.

Likewise, there will never be two products that are exactly alike, because the products are handmade. We hope that you will appreciate the small features of the products and their history as much as we do - and we hope that you will enjoy them for many years to come. 

Care

We recommend that you wash the scarf as little as possible to protect the product and our planet:

• Machine wash at max. 30°C / Gentle wash
• Can be ironed at medium temperature 
• Do not bleach, tumble dry or dry clean
