HANDMADE IN BANGLADESH
We hope you love our collection of jute/cotton bags in various colors and patterns. The bag measures W50 x H33 cm and has two internal pockets.
The bag is made of hand-woven jute and lined with cotton. It is sewn according to global fair trade principles and took about five hours to make.
When you buy a bag, you help ensure decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive fair pay and vocational training.
The bag is made from jute, a natural fiber. The fiber is extracted from the bark of the jute plant and undergoes an extensive processing procedure before becoming a finished jute or jute/cotton product.
Because the products are handmade, no two items will ever be exactly the same. We hope you will appreciate the little quirks and the story of the products as much as we do – and we hope you'll enjoy your product for many years to come.
