We hope you like our collection of beautiful handwoven rugs with different patterns and sizes. This rug measures W80 x L210 cm. The carpet is made in a beautiful pattern with large checks and can be used as a decorative rug or as a wall hanging. 

The rug is made from vintage cotton sarees. It is handmade using a traditional weaving technique. It is handmade based on global fair trade principles and took approximately 8 hours to weave.

When you buy a hand-woven carpet, you help ensure proper, meaningful and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. They receive a fair wage and at the same time help preserve and develop an old craft tradition.

This rug is made from vintage cotton sarees, which means the product has a history.

The saris have previously been worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means that the rugs are not perfect and may have small marks or marks that reflect their history.

Care

We recommend that you avoid washing the rug to protect the product and our planet. If it becomes necessary to wash the carpet, it can withstand:

• Do not tumble dry
• be aware, that the carpet shrinks a few centimeters if you wash it
