HANDMADE IN BANGLADESH
We hope you love our jute pouches. The pouch measures H13 x B15 cm and has a base of D4 cm.
The pouch is made from handwoven jute and is padded and lined with cotton. It is sewn following global fair trade principles and took about one and a half hours to make.
When you buy a pouch, you help secure decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive fair pay and vocational training.
The pouch is made of jute, which is a natural fiber. The fiber is extracted from the bark of the jute plant and undergoes extensive processing before becoming a finished jute product.
Because the products are handmade, no two items will ever be exactly the same. We hope you will appreciate the small unique details and the story of the products as much as we do — and we hope you enjoy your product for many years to come.
