We hope that you will love our collection of one-of-a-kind kantha toilet bags in various colors and patterns as much as we do. The dimensions of the toilet bag are W21 x H12 x D9 cm and comes with one large and two smaller inside pockets.

The toilet bag is made with foam, four layers of vintage cotton saris, and lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. It is made by women artisans, based on fair trade principles, and has taken approximately three and a half hours to create.

Every purchase empowers women at a social enterprise in Bangladesh. It provides safe and dignified jobs for disadvantaged women. They receive fair wages, yearly dividends, on the job training and capacity building.

Details

This bag is made of vintage cotton saris, which means that the product has a history. In the past, these saris were worn by women in Bangladesh. They are now up-cycled and given a new life which means that smaller imperfections such as small stains and patches can occur.

The bag is lined with GOTS certified organic cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent third-party certification of the entire textile supply chain. A textile product that is GOTS certified must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibers.
