We hope you love our collection of one-of-a-kind silk scarves in many colors and beautiful patterns. The scarf measures 100 x 100 cm.
The scarves are made from vintage silk saris, which means they are not perfect (see details ). The scarves are carefully selected and each one has a unique character. At the same time, there is only one or very few of each scarf. The scarves are sewn based on global fair trade principles and took about two hours to restore and sew.
When you buy a scarf, you help ensure decent, meaningful, and dignified jobs for marginalized women in Bangladesh. The women work for a socially responsible company where they receive a fair wage, an annual bonus (dividend), and vocational training.

The scarves are made from vintage saris, which means the product has a history.
The saris were previously worn by women in Bangladesh. They have now been upcycled and given a new life. This means that the scarves are not perfect and may have small stains and marks.
🧡 If you find a small embroidery on your scarf, it is because the women judged the fabric beautiful and usable – despite one or two small holes, which they repaired with delicate stitching.
Likewise, no two products will ever be exactly alike because the pieces are handmade. We hope you will appreciate the little quirks and the story behind each product as much as we do — and that you will enjoy it for many years to come.
