We hope you love our collection of jute/cotton bags in different colors and patterns. The bag measures W55 x H40 cm and has two inside pockets. 

The bag is made of handwoven jute/cotton and lined with cotton. It is sewn based on global fair trade principles and took approximately five hours to make.

Every purchase empowers women at a social enterprise in Bangladesh. It provides safe and dignified jobs for disadvantaged women. The women receive fair wages, on the job training and capacity building.

• Lined with off-white cotton
• Firm bottom lined with a thin layer of recycled rubber (and cotton)
• Made from handwoven jute/cotton which is naturally dyed via a manual process with dye from plants 
• Handmade by women in Bangladesh

Details

The bag is made of jute, which is a natural fiber. The fiber is extracted from the bark of the jute plant and goes through an extensive processing process before it becomes a finished jute or jute/cotton product.
